Hello Karina, thank you so much for joining this conversation today. First I would love you to introduce yourself to the readers in a few lines.

Hi Fatii! I’m so excited to be contributing to your beautiful blog, thank you for thinking of me!

My name is Karina Sitaldas and my ultimate goal is to help restore the balance of frequencies on our planet. That’s a fancy way of saying that I’d love to radiate more love through my everyday actions and in the process, create this ripple effect of love flowing through every individual I communicate with.

I also aim to do this through the readings that I offer and posts that I share on my Instagram. I’d love to have you join the conversation on @starrystarryvibes; conversations about the great unknown truly light my fire.

What’s your big three: Sun, Moon and Rising? And what do these placements say about you?

My Sun is in Leo, moon is in Taurus and I am a Libra rising. I love love, nature, magick, aesthetics, music & I am a big foodie. The taurus in me kind of tones down all the energy and the dramatized expression and instead allows me to channel all this energy through creating when I’m not coddled by my comfort zones.

I love creating art; whether that’s painting, lettering, taking photos of beautiful landscapes, attempting to create music or anything else. Nature is my temple, my biggest frequency upgrades are with my feet on the grass & spending time with my plants and part of my purpose is to bring earthlings back to the realization that the Earth really is our Ultimate Mama.

Lovely! As an intuitive astrologer, how did astrology change your life? What did learning astrology teach you?

Ah, well first – I can’t remember the last day I went without thinking about the astrology of the moment at least once. It’s very much weaved into my life on a daily basis. One of the greatest gifts that astrology has given me is the ability to identify when I am operating from lower vibrations and how to shift that so that I’m able to come back to higher frequencies and hold the light not only for myself, but also for my tribe by identifying the archetypes that are currently being activated within me through the cosmos.

It’s definitely taught me that when we’re working in harmony with the cosmos rather than pushing things that aren’t meant to happen, we live a life that’s more effortless, more aligned, and we’re able to harness the magic of the energies to propel us forward rather than slowly wade through unseen territory. It gives us such a reliable guide and such a profound teacher.

Do you think astrology is a science, an art or both? Or is it more of a language?

It’s a little bit of all of them for me. I really feel that it’s the language of the stars and the way the cosmos speak to us so that we’re prepared for whatever may come our way. It’s a matter of learning to understand the basic formula (which makes it quite scientific and mathematical) and then playing around with it to see what can be deciphered.

Most of us, astrology practitioners know the main keywords when it comes to a planet or an archetype and it’s up to us how we would like to frame it based on our own perception.

This is where the artistic side of it comes in for me. There are so many words that can be used to translate what we hear within our intuition when we’re in communion with the cosmos. The art that we create to to tie it all together; whether it’s a story, poetry, music or even a painting – this is where the magick really lies, it’s the place where we discover our inner creative genius.

What first awakened your astrology spark? Was it an encounter, a book, a person?

It was a combination of a couple of things: I lost myself and needed help finding my purpose and I wanted to understand more about my relationship with my now fiancé. We’re a Leo-Scoprio square pair and everyone that understands Astrology knows that there’s a lot there.

The good times were just SO GOOD and the bad times were just well – very challenging and I just couldn’t understand how we fit together so well as friends but the relationship brought new dynamics. One day a few years ago, I went on astro.com, and read everything I could find about our charts and ever since then, I’ve been hooked and it’s helped me understand my favorite person and our relationship so much better.

Using astrology to understand our partnerships adds such a beautiful layer of compassion which is why I also offer a reading just like this called Written in the Stars.

On top of astrology, I know you also work with tarot and oracle cards. Can you explain your journey and process working with these tools?

Absolutely! My first step into Astrology was actually beginning to learn the Tarot. Every card in the Major Arcana of the Tarot corresponds to one of the planets or archetypes that we study in Astrology and each suit of the Minor Arcana also corresponds to the different elements Earth (Pentacles), Air (Swords), Fire (Wands), and Water (Cups) so the two have really been complementing each other through my studies – it’s always mind blowing when I pull a card and it’s so in sync with the current Astrology which happens more than you’d think. Magick is so alive.

I love using Oracle cards too. They were much easier to work with until I finally got the Tarot down. The messages were simpler to understand and more comprehensive and they add a mystical feel. One of my favorite things is to pull Tarot cards and then pull a few Oracle cards after to get more context about what the Tarot cards say, as well as to tie together all the messages.

A few months ago, you invited me on your podcast Highly Spiritual, and the experience was surreal: I discovered the warm, delightful, kind and genuine person you are, and it felt amazing to connect on so many levels. Can you share a little bit more about your podcast? What’s the purpose behind Highly Spiritual?

Aww, and I was so glad to have you on. I love how we got chatting like we’ve known each other for way longer than we actually have; I so agree that it was beautiful to connect – thank you for coming on!

The story behind it is when I started my Spiritual journey, I felt pretty lost and unsure as we all usually do when we find out that everything that we’ve been taught is part of a program. After learning a few tools and starting to channel, I decided to create my passion project, Starry Starry Vibes and as I started sharing, I began meeting such beautiful souls like yourself who are also doing the work, learning, unlearning, and learning again, sharing tools, vulnerabilities, and openly talking about the bigger concepts and that truly inspired me.

It made me realize that there are so many people that are living in higher frequencies and anchoring them into our world; truly doing the work for humanity and helping create a beautiful New Earth & the idea of sharing energy with these beautiful souls just lit me up. These conversations that we have then have the ability to guide and assist more earthlings that are just waking up to their spirituality and this is what truly drives me.

I love connecting, learning about different people’s passions, and holding space for them to share tools that have helped them and some hacks that they’ve discovered as they navigate this human experience. It’s always such a gift – exchanging energy and learning new things.

You also run monthly Moon Circles! Can you share about these intimate experiences? What happens during these circles and what’s the intention behind these gatherings?

Ah, I would absolutely LOVE to because I love these Moon Circles so very much. I, along with two beautiful ladies, Thea Lizardo and Princess Manzon lead New Moon Circles on the 11^th of each month.

Every new moon, we’re gifted a clear slate from the Universe: a new beginning with so much potential, that has the capability to build on the intentions of the previous month. As we know too, during new and full moons, the veil is thinnest between the worlds which makes it an incredibly beneficial time to be doing spiritual work.

During our moon circles, I share key information about the archetype where the New Moon falls in as well as intuitive guidance that comes through around the energetics of times, Thea takes it a level deeper by sharing more about the aspects going on in the sky at the moment, and Princess, our princess of ceremony leads us through a Cacao Ceremony to begin and usually delivers us to the end of the circle with ritual: sometimes this is breathwork, other times meditation, and sometimes even ecstatic dance.

What practice are you currently incorporating into your craft and daily spirituality?

Currently, I incorporate burning Palo Santo to cleanse every morning, Yoga, Tarot and Oracle cards some days, Astrology of course, and the Akashic Records every so often. I usually go in to channel a transmission every time planets shift signs and I share these through an exclusive content program I have called Into the Records.

How do you think the future of humanity looks like, from an astrological perspective? (or, How do you think the end of 2021 looks like, from an astrological perspective?)

The end of 2021 from an Astrological Perspective looks pretty adventurous to me. We’ve had so much going on in the sky this year and I don’t think that really plans to slow down. I see a heart-centered world in our future but if I’m being completely honest, I feel like we’re still going to be in the darkness before the dawn.

That’s where we are right now – the rebuild, the chaos, the extreme measures under which a diamond is created. Considering all the Aquarius action, I do think that lots more technology will come into the picture, AI will become bigger, crypto will eventually take over paper money. I think lots of incredible things that we couldn’t even imagine in our wildest dreams will come up, and I also believe that self-sovereignty is going to be SO important, as it already is.

Standing tall for our values and staying in our heart despite all the outside noise is really going to be the catalyst for our New Earth. I truly know in my heart that we are capable – but I also believe that it will take some time. Hang tight though, we’re on our way and isn’t the journey the best part anyway?
