Most people have a concept or product they’re eager to share with the world, yet, never successfully put out there. As a spiritual entrepreneur myself, I know how complicated it can be to begin on the entrepreneurial journey, and sustain it! But did you know that there’s different habits that can teach you how to be happy while building a successful business?
Because the Living Simplyy blog is all about giving a voice to people from all paths of life around topics related to spirituality, esotericism and self-transformation, I had the honor of chatting about this topic with the fantastic young Moroccan female entrepreneur and author Ihsane Farahate.
Hi there Ihsane, thank you for being here. I’m happy to have this conversation with you today. For those who don’t know you, could you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hi lovely! I’m Ihsane, a 27 years old Moroccan content creator, writer and entrepreneur. I’m the author of the novel L’avenir dans ses mains and the founder of Wildies Concept Store, an online vintage and thrift shop on Instagram.
What’s your big three placements: Sun, Moon and Rising?
I’m a Scorpio Sun, Libra Rising and Cancer Moon!
What an intense combination! I believe the most spiritual act we can do in life, no matter our beliefs, is protect the planet and all the living creatures within it. For this reason, I love shopping second-hand and repurposing items. What motivated you to start your Wildies Concept Store?
I’ve always been a huge fan of vintage clothing and I’ve always struggled to find THE perfect items that match my style. Also, I get bored easily especially when it comes to my looks, so I often buy clothes that I end up barely wearing.
The idea of starting Wildies Concept Store started from here at first, from my personal closet, like a “vide-dressing” as we say in French. It was, of course, also a way for me to have a positive impact (no matter how small) on our society.
I truly believe that opening a thrift shop store is a great way to recycle clothes and accessories, but also encourage people to embrace a more responsible consumption and lifestyle instead of the fast fashion frenzy we currently witness. Fast fashion consumerism has lots of cons, not only for our pocket but also for the planet.
And, may I add: for our soul as well! Can you share with us a few spiritual lessons that you learned as a Female Entrepreneur?
I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned this year with my online business is that everything happens for a reason. And that it always eventually gets better at the end.
I believe that we can achieve anything; really! It is simply a matter of motivation and time. As long as we believe in ourselves and in the power of the Universe, or God, there is absolutely no reason for it not to happen.
Also, sometimes things happen for the best, even when it makes us feel awful, sad or lost or whatever for a while. Faith in destiny, that’s the lesson!
Do you have any advice for young female entrepreneurs who are thinking about starting a business or creating their new product/blog/brand, etc? How can we be happy while building a successful business?
Go for it, don’t wait for the best timing or money or anything, just do it! Clear your mind, take some time for yourself, and identify your strengths and desires. Then visualize your dream project, and do it.
It doesn’t matter if you start small, from your couch, with no resources. Keep in mind that everyone has to start somewhere, someday. That’s my mantra.
In fact, I wish I started so many projects years ago, and I do feel like I’ve wasted time waiting for the best timing while it was never about that. Go girls!
Thank you Ihsane for your time!

Top 10 habits to implement if you want to be happy while building a successful business
From this conversation, my own experience as a spiritual entrepreneur, and based on the “soulpreneurs” I have the chance of meeting along my journey, I have come to realize that there’s a few common habits that most “happy” business owners share.
- Be authentic and speak your truth!
- Prioritize your rest, your mental and physical well-being.
- Celebrate your small wins, gains or accomplishments.
- Be kind to yourself at all times!
- Prefer imperfect action over perfect inaction. Read it again.
- Keep a healthy balance between work and personal life.
- Have firm boundaries with intrusive clients and learn how to say NO!
- Create daily, weekly and monthly routines to support you through your journey.
- Invest in yourself over and over again: read books, sign up to courses, listen to podcasts, attend seminars and events within your niche… there’s endless ways you can keep yourself learning and growing.
- Trust the process and have fun!
Wishing you massive happiness, success and resilience in your business and life.
