The 5 Best Astrology & Horoscopes Apps According To An Astrologer
Either you’re just getting into Astrology or a confirmed astrologer, many apps can help you keep track of the stars and their intricate relationship with us. From horoscopes to Moon tracking, let me introduce you to The 5 Best Astrology & Horoscopes Apps out there.

Time Nomad
Cost: Free, with in-app purchases

A friend shared this app with me a while ago and I fell head over heels over it. Time Nomad is a great tool for intermediate or advanced astrologers who want to stay up-to-date with the current transits and ephemeris. Aka, the movement of the planets in real time. I find this App to be one of the most accurate birth chart calculations on mobile.
If you’re already on your way in astrology, and looking for more ways to to learn astrology and keep track of the cyclic nature of the world, you should definitely have Time Nomad in your pocket. This platform offers training tools and a blog with lots of resources to better understand the fascinating realm of Astrology.
In Time Nomad, I appreciate how you can chose if you want to use the Sidereal or Tropical Zodiac, which many apps do not offer. Besides this, my favorite part is how you can check the planetary hour rulership in real time. As a holistic astrologer, this is one of my favorite ways to set important dates and events.
Co-Star Astrology
Cost: Free, with in-app purchases

This is one of the most known apps out there, and for good reason! Indeed, Co-Star Astrology is probably the most beginner-friendly and aesthetically pleasing Astro App out there. If you follow Co-Star on Instagram, they also share very funny and spot-on astrological memes, which truly cracks me up every time I see them!
The good part of Co-Star is how accessible, practical and simple astrology is on their platform. You can get access to your natal placements and summarized birth chart, but also compare it with your friend’s charts. This “social” aspect of the App is quite interesting and unique in what’s usually considered as a solo learning experience.
The Pattern
Cost: Free, with in-app purchases

If you’re interested in the collective and relationship part of astrology, then head over to The Pattern. Their explanations are always great, but not suited for people who are seeking to learn as I’ve found that they sometimes offer text but no context. As an example, the App would tell you that a new cycle begins for you this week, but fails to mention the planets and transits involved. Something to keep in mind as you venture throughout the App.
This is one of my least favorite Apps as an astrologer because it takes away all the astrology jargon. For beginners or people who get overwhelmed by technicalities, this is for you. But if you’re the curious type that wants to know the “Why”, then you will probably get frustrated quite quickly.
Furthermore, if you do not turn off your notifications, The Pattern will literally flood you with messages. Most apps have a “pushy” notification strategy, so I usually just switch it off completely, but I especially felt this with the Pattern.
Moonly: Moon Phase Calendar, Cycles and Astrology
Cost: Free, with in-app purchases

For lunar living practitioners and moon lovers, this one’s for you! Moonly allows you to keep a record of the moon’s transit through the 12 signs of the zodiac. In my opinion, living in accordance with the moon is one of the most rewarding things to do in our spiritual path.
In fact, aligning with the moon cycle boosts your manifestation mojo. For me, it’s when I started incorporating lunar living into my craft that my life changed 360°. I share more on this concept in this video.
Star Walk 2:Identify Stars in the Night Sky
Cost: Free, with in-app purchases

“Star Walk 2 is a great astronomy guide to explore the night sky day and night, identify stars, constellations, planets, satellites, asteroids, comets, ISS, Hubble Space Telescope and other celestial bodies in real time in the sky above you. All you need to do is to point your device to the sky.”
Last but not least, meet Star Walk 2! This is not an astrology app per so, but it’s an exquisite and jaw-dropped stargazing tool that every astrologer or astrology lover should know about.
I tried this App more times than I can count. And every time I do, I feel amazed and humbled to see the infinity of the thousands of stars, planets and constellations around us. If you’re looking into a Holistic way to connect with planetary magic, the Universe at large and the cosmos, I highly recommend you try Star Walk 2. Or, if you’re simply smoking a blunt at night with a partner or friends, pulling this App out of your phone will certainly be a great source of conversation and wonder. Trust me…
